This policy on the processing of personal data (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”) describes how LIEWOOD A/S (hereinafter “LIEWOOD”, “us”, “our” or “we”) collects and/or processes information and certain personal data about you.
We process Personal Data in order to serve you in the best possible way. We mainly collect and process non-sensitive personal data. The Privacy Policy applies to personal data which you provide us with or which we collect via the LIEWOOD website, www.liewood.com (hereinafter “the Website”).

What personal data do we collect and why?
We process personal data about you in a number of different situations. Read more about our processing in the different situations below.
3.1 Visitors to our website
When you visit our Website, or use our online chat function, we may process information about your IP address as well as information about your device and browser type and browsing behavior. This information is used to get information about e.g. how you access our websites, how you navigate on the Website, which pages you visit, what content your view, your searches, etc.). Personal data is collected through cookies, log files and other technologies (you can read more about our use of cookies below under “Cookies”.
We also process personal data that you submit to us when using our online chat form, including your name, address, phone number, e-mail, product interest, and any other information you may submit to us.
We use your personal data to optimize user experience and the Website’s function, and to carry out targeted marketing, including retargeting via Meta and Google and Pinterest to make relevant products, supplies, benefits and services available to you and to pursue our interests in improving the Website and showing you relevant offers.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in making our website and products available to you (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation) or your consent to cookies (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 3 of the Danish Executive Order on Cookies).

3.2 Customers
When you are a customer and purchase via our Website, we collect and process personal data about name, e-mail and phone number, shipping and billing addresses, your purchases, payment details, order history and tracking data and other information you submit to us.
We process the personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement with you as a customer, invoicing, keeping statistics and performing quality management as well as for maintaining our customer records and providing general service, marketing and sales to our customers.
The legal basis for processing is the agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation) and our legitimate interests in managing your information as a customer with us (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
We store personal data about our customers for five (5) years after the end of fiscal year of last purchase date.
3.3 Marketing recipients
When you accept to receive marketing communications, including newsletters, from us we process personal data about name, phone number, e-mail and country. We also process information about your marketing or communication preferences, your use of the marketing we send to you (including, for example, whether you have opened an email from us, whether the email has been read and which links you have opened), and any other information you provide to us.
We process your personal data for the purpose of marketing our company and products, and for setting up and managing your marketing subscription. We use the personal data about your preferences and usage to understand the way customers receive our marketing messages and to improve our marketing for you and other customers going forward.
We will only send you marketing material by email, text messages or other electronic means once we have obtained your consent where this is required under the Danish Marketing Practices Act.
We also use personal data about you to show you content on our Website based on your activities and preferences, and to limit the number of times you see the same content, as well as to measure the effectiveness of our content and marketing. For this purpose, we may upload your email address to advertising tools with for instance Google or Meta for the purpose of sending targeted marketing messages.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interests in complying with your wish to receive marketing communications from us to which you have consented under the Danish Marketing Practices Act (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
We store personal data about recipients of marketing communications until you withdraw your consent.
3.4 Participants in competitions
When you participate in competitions, we process personal data about your name, address, phone number, e-mail, answer for the competition, and profile name.
We process your personal data for the purposes of managing competitions, drawing winners, etc.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in running the competition and contacting the winner (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
We store the personal data collected in connection with the organization of competitions.
When processing orders and agreements with our agent, retailers and other collaborative partners it may in some instances involve processing of personal data. This data is either collected directly from the relevant collaborative partner or through our agents. The data includes name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method, information about which products you purchase and any you may have returned, delivery wishes, and information about the IP address from which your purchase is made.
• The purpose of this is to enable us to provide the products that you have ordered and to fulfil our agreement with you, and furthermore, that we are able to administer your right to return goods and to make complaints. We may also process information about your purchase in order to comply with legal requirements, including bookkeeping and accounting. When a purchase is made, the IP address is collected in order to pursue our interest in being able to prevent fraud.

Recipients of personal data
Information about your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and order number and specific delivery wishes are forwarded to a carrier, who manages the delivery of the purchased goods to you.
Information may be entrusted to external partners, who process the information on our behalf. We use external partners to, among other things, manage the technical operation of and make improvements to our website, issue newsletters and target marketing, including retargeting, and for your assessment of our company and products, and for customer care. These companies are data processors and are under our instructions, and they process data that we are the data controller of. The data processors may not use the data for any other purpose than the fulfilment of the agreement with us and are subject to confidentiality in this regard. We have entered into written data processor agreements with all of the data processors that process personal data on our behalf.
In connection with our processing of your personal data, we may transfer such information to countries outside the EU/EEA (third countries).
Your personal data may be transferred to countries where the European Commission has determined that the level of data protection is equivalent to that in the EU/EEA (secure third countries).

Your rights

Right of access
You are entitled to request information from us about, what data we have registered about you, to what purpose the registration serves, which categories of personal data and recipients of data there may be, and information about where the data comes from.
You are entitled to receive a copy of the personal data, which we process about you. If you wish to receive a copy of your personal data, you must send a written request by email, addressed to Customercare@liewood.com. You may be asked to document that you are who you claim to be.
Right to make corrections
You have the right to order us to correct any incorrect information about you. If you have become aware of an error in the information that we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing about this, so that we can correct the information.
Right to erasure
In certain situations, you have the right to have all your personal data with us erased, e.g. if you withdraw your consent and we do not have another legal basis for continuing with the processing. To the extent that the continued processing of your data is necessary, e.g. in order that we comply with our legal obligations or that a legal requirement can be established, exercised or defended, we are not obligated to delete your personal data.
Right to restriction of processing to storage
In certain situations, you have the right to restrict processing of your personal data to storage only, e.g. if you believe that the information about you is incorrect.
Right to data portability
In certain situations, you have the right to have the personal data that you have personally provided to us, returned to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
Right to object
You have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing, including profiling carried out in order to target our direct marketing.
In addition, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data, which we carry out on the basis of pursuing our legitimate interests under which information we collect.
Right to withdraw consent

Right to complain
You have the right to submit a complaint at any time about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. Complaints can also be submitted by email, addressed to dt@datatilsynet.dk or made by telephone by calling +45 33 19 32 00.
Erasure of personal data
The data collected about your use of the website is deleted this when it is not used anymore.
Information collected when you subscribe to our newsletter is deleted once you have withdrawn your consent to receive the newsletter unless there is another basis for processing the information.
The information collected in connection with purchases you have made through the website, will be deleted we no longer have a legitimate need for storage. Accounting material is stored for five years to the end of a fiscal year to meet accounting law requirements.
Security
We have carried out appropriate technical and organizational security measures against personal data being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost or impaired and against becoming available to unauthorized persons, or misused.
Only employees who have a real need to gain access to your personal data in order to carry out their work, are given access to the personal data.
